Our journey as Kolej Swasta Bandar Utama (KSBU) began in 1990 in 6 units of 4-storey shop-lots in Damansara Uptown, Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya while waiting for the completion of our purpose-built permanent campus in Bandar Utama, a new and successful mixed development township in Petaling Jaya. After relocating to our permanent campus KBU changed its name to KBU International College. In 2015 we were elevated to university college and renamed First City University College (First City UC).

Our permanent campus is designed to ensure a conducive learning and teaching environment, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Emphasizing that education is not just about studying we have included both outdoor and indoor recreational facilities at the campus such as a football field, futsal, badminton, and basketball courts, table tennis tables, and a dance studio. We also provide air-conditioned student accommodation with en-suite bathrooms which can accommodate more than 800 students within and across the road from the campus. First City UC’s students will have a holistic and wholesome experience of campus life in preparing for their future career.

For almost 30 years, First City UC has been leading the way in providing affordable, quality and industry-relevant education for Malaysian and International students. First City UC offers a wide range of programmes that meet the stringent requirements of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) on the quality and delivery of programmes.
