Your Student Experience
As a Global Study Centre (GSC) student, you will be a student at the University of Leicester

No matter how far you travel to join us, we’re here to help you feel at home in Leicester. Based on one of the UK’s most diverse cities, the University campus is a thriving international community with over 25% of our full-time, campus-based students coming from more than 110 different countries.

You will have access to the University facilities and will be able to join student societies and participate in campus events. You will also be provided with your personal student ID card. This is an exciting opportunity to study at the University of Leicester, a top 25 UK University (THE World University Rankings).

During your International Foundation Year, you will benefit from the excellent support offered by GSC staff. They will get to know you during your time at the Centre and are happy to help you with any queries, worries or concerns.

Accommodation is a key part of your experience, and there are a number of options available for students in the city. These are across a number of locations and suit a variety of budgets. There are en-suite rooms available and even meal plan options.

The pathway curriculum, developed in line with the University and to strict quality standards, has been designed for international students who fall just below direct entry criteria (English or academic).

Based within easy walking distance of the University of Leicester campus, the Centre encourages development, nurtures confidence and supports the integration of each student into student life in the UK.
