Australian Awards for University Teaching
The Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) recognise Australia's most outstanding university teachers. They provide recognition for teachers, or teams, for the excellence of their teaching and have made a broad and deep contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching in higher education. ANU teachers have an outstanding record of success with AAUT awards, with a sector-leading total of nine teachers and one team being recipients of these prestigious awards in 2017.

ANU recognises the exceptional scholarship, citizenship or services of our friends, partners and mentors. The University also bestows emeritus and honorary titles on staff and supporters who have contributed notably to the University.

•Global programs - Enhance your ANU learning experience and take advantage of international opportunities which can be credited towards your degree. There are plenty of options available from internships, short term programs through to a full year abroad. Broaden your educational experience and kick-start your career once you graduate!
•Medical Services - The on campus health services provider is the National Health Co-op (NHC). The NHC operates a state-of-the-art health and wellness clinic on levels 2 and 3 of Health and Wellbeing Centre (Building 156) in Kambri.
•Volunteering - Our University community offers many diverse volunteering opportunities. Pitch in and enrich your time at ANU.
•Access & Inclusion - Assisting students to participate fully in their program of study by minimising the impact of disability and disadvantage on learning.
•Counselling - Free and confidential counselling is available on campus for all currently enrolled ANU students, including ANU College students. Appointments are available for booking every day. Appointments can also be booked in advance. There are also group programs for common issues, public seminars, and a peer support walking program.
•Leadership - ANU provides you with opportunities to develop leadership skills and experience alongside your academic studies, including through clubs and societies, leadership specific programs, volunteer roles including in university residences, and in local and global communities.
