EQUITY AND INCLUSION
The University of the Pacific community believes that diversity and inclusion are essential to the fulfillment of our institutional mission. We value inclusiveness in learning, curricular and co-curricular programming, campus climate, recruitment, admissions, hiring and retention.
We resolve to foster a community that is inclusive of diversity in all areas and is respectful of all persons.
The Division of Student Life is home to a number of campus resources to support the multiple identities our students carry. These identity and equity resources work together to provide programs and services which foster intersectional identity development, cultural competence, social justice, and community engagement.
Building positive identities and respect for differences, means weaving diversity into the fabric of your everyday life, in and outside of the classroom.
University of the Pacific is committed to its role as a strong community partner in Sacramento, San Francisco and Stockton. We are working to help address the challenges confronting Northern California, and we take pride in celebrating the successes we achieve in collaboration with our neighbors.
