Centre for Arts and Technology International Study Centre is located in Surrey, a suburb of Greater Vancouver in British Columbia. Central Vancouver is a 45 minute train ride away so you will have easy access to one of Canada’s largest and most diverse cities.

You will have the opportunity to continue your studies towards an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree at one of our partners: British Columbia Institute of Technology or Langara College.

You can also access free personal and academic coaching to prepare for your career. This support continues once you graduate. Workshops are also held throughout the year to keep you updated about the latest technology and hear opinions from industry experts.
PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES PROGRAM
Focusing on your academic English language proficiency, this program also covers the skills needed for success in your Diploma, degree and career. Classes include reading, writing, listening/speaking, academic success and test-taking strategies. You will study for 24 weeks depending on your IELTS score (or equivalent).
The English for Academic Purposes Program will also help you to adjust to your new life in Canada. Staff will be able to advise you on your pathway and any questions you have about day-to-day life.
DIPLOMA
You will study your Diploma for 12-24 months, during which time you will be able to apply for a work permit and find work. Your classes will be scheduled so you can fit work in around them.
The Diploma will be focused on practical skills so you’ll gain lots of experience for your future role. You can choose to progress to one of our partner public colleges to complete your Bachelor's degree.
PREP PLUS
If you would like to apply for a Work Permit from the first day of your English for Academic Purposes program, you can choose one of Centre for Arts & Technology’s Prep Plus programs which combine the most popular diploma programs with the 12 week IEP-200 program.
